Originally I said that staying home didn't really change life for a couple of retired folk but it has.
Today I was reading my journal from the previous year, and retired we may have been then as well, stay at home was definatly not the case.
I am amazed at how much we crammed into a day, going here coming there. We were
gad-abouts, plain and simple.

Now, our cars have not been out of the garage in a week, maybe more.
We did manage to finish a jigsaw puzzle. Whoopee!
Oh, we took Roxy for a walk and talked to a neighbor......
yep, thats what these two old retired folk did today.
Interesting you have Pink Lady too. This is her first year with me and she has put on good growth so I am really looking forward to seeing her bloom. I shall be so disappointed if her stems snap off if we get a gale. But that's the worry/joy of gardening isn't it? Thanks for calling.
ReplyDeleteOne of my very favorite garden flowers are the Japanese and Siberian Iris so I have a large number of different ones.
DeleteLoved that jigsaw and the plaited flowers at the bottom - don't recognise them. Have a happy day and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThey are called Star of Bethlehem, they are a small bulb plant
DeleteHaha. I always love looking at your flowers, Doc. :)
ReplyDeleteMy brother does puzzles by the dozens. Always posts the pictures.
I love the scene in yours.
God bless you and yours, Doc.
It is a Charles Wysocki puzzle.
DeleteAmazing how enforced solitude turns into solitude.
ReplyDeleteIts starting to get old, we would like to do our own shopping.
DeleteThere are some nice looking plants there Doc. The furthest I've been in six weeks is across the road to check on the sheep. I've sort of got used to is now to be honest and certainly have no wish to risk getting infected.
