If you want wisteria make sure your structure will support it. Last March I cut twice as much out and it’s already showing me who’s boss.
If you can’t put up a super structure that will hold a wisteria, then clematis might be a better choice of vine. We currently have five different species. This spring bloomer is Dr. Ruppel.
Clematis is always nice but I don't think you can beat Wisteria. That is a lovely one.
ReplyDeleteWisteria - my favourite.
ReplyDeleteHi there, I enjoy reading all of your post. I wanted to write a

Wisteria is glorious, but will carry off unsuspecting gutters, windows, even the side of your house.
ReplyDeleteI miss our wisteria. Hubby keeps the area it was growing in, pretty well mowed.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is always lovely, Doc. God bless you all.
WOW! Your wisteria. I have no success with mine, it will not flower and am thinking I must chop it down and start afresh.
